Sign and Symptoms of Acne
All of sudden some changes appear in your body and you know that people are noticing you. They notice your appearance, your presence and all. But one fine morning you find that there is something on your face and it starts attracting all concerns of everybody. Your presence is avoided by a small scar. These small to large things on your face matters a lot, these matters because these attract every eye and obviously leave your all beauty aside and that scar on one side. Acne! This is a word, which everybody knows. Acne can be the smallest thing to happen for a skin specialist or elders around you, but this is not less than a major problem.
Acne patients frequently have feelings of inferiority, low self-esteem, anger, depression, frustration and embarrassment. Recent studies have shown poor academic performance in students with severe acne. If parents would only realize that acne not only can scar the psyche of their children, but also can leave permanent physical scars on the skin, they may take greater interest in this non-life-threatening medical condition - for the short and long term good of their children. Skin problems, or if we use the term "acne" loosely, is mostly found in teenagers and young adults in their 20s, but it is not unusual for people to experience problems in this area well into their 40.Acne is not present only the face, some people facing this problem any other parts of the body.
There are diseases, which are related to the age and Acne is one of these. Ayurveda is a prehistoric medical science in which hundreds of diseases are very well explained along with causes, symptoms and remedies on lines of Dosha theory. Lifestyle adjustments cited in Ayurveda for each disease play an important role in curing the diseases. In Ayurveda, the Tridosha, the three Doshas or energetic forces in the form of tissues, control all activities of the body. The three Doshas are:
In Ayurveda, acne is defined as Youvana Pitikas, which means breakouts of youth. Ayurveda has also explained causes and treatments of acne.
Cause of Acne in Ayurveda
Kapha and Vata are the two main Doshas that cause acne and pimples. Rakta Dhatu or blood also forms acne.
Unhealthy diet and lifestyles defect Vata, which in turn affects two Doshas, Kapha and Pitta, to get provoked. Goaded Pitta affects rakta Dhatu or blood.
The flawed blood causes excess secretion of oil from sebaceous glands. Kapha which already has oily property, when forced impart the stickiness to the oil produced by sebaceous glands of skin. Therefore the thick sebaceous blocks are formed in skin pores and hair follicles escorting to upsurge of acne.
