Home Remedies for Constipation

Following are some of the effective home remedies for constipation:

  • Regular intake of papaya at early morning in empty stomach is very beneficial for proper bowel movement.
  • Guava and grapes both have laxative properties. Dry grapes are also benefecial  in constipation. 5-8pieces of dry grapes soaked in overnight and take this at early morning in an empty stomach .
  •  Put a teaspoon of ghee in a glassful of warm milk. Drink it when going to bed. It is very helpful in relieving from constipation.
  • One tablespoon of flaxseeds in a glass of water and soaked for 2-3 hrs and then take it before going to bed it will clear your bowel next day.
  • Apples are very beneficial in treating constipation. Eat two apples every morning. Bite them with the teeth instead of using a knife to cut them into slices.
  • Drink a glass of lemon juice in water with a pinch of salt in it. This will treat any kind of constipation you are suffering from.
  • Oranges and bael fruits are also beneficial to improve bowel moments.
  • Haritaki powder improves digestive tracts, normalize the function of bowel moments.
  • Take one teaspoon of flaxseed in one glass of water to soaked and used it before going to bed.
