Hyperlipidemia is talk of the town because of the increasing cases of the cardiac diseases and deaths due the cardiac problems. Floating and sediment fats both cause heavy risk to the most vital organ heart. To ensure the health of heart, this is important to ensure the level of lipids inside the body on an optimum level. There are certain myths and confusions about the treatment of Hyperlipidemia; here we are trying to bring some clearness on how lipids can be brought to normal level and how we should proceed for the treatment of the Hyperlipidemia and prevention of heart diseases.

Treatment According to Modern Health Science:

There are several types of drugs available to help lower blood cholesterol levels, and they work in different ways. These include:

  • Statin drugs, such as lovastatin, that prevent the liver from manufacturing cholesterol;
  • Bile acid resins, such as cholestyramine and colestipol. These medications bind with bile acids in the intestine, reducing the amount of cholesterol absorbed from foods. Side effects can be bothersome, and may include nausea, bloating, cramping, and liver injury.
  • Fibrates, such as bezafibrate, fenofibrate, or gemfibrozil, particularly effective in treating high triglyceride levels. Fibrates have been associated with muscle toxicity (causing muscle pain or weakness), especially when used by people with kidney insufficiency or when used in combination with a statin medication.
  • Niacin (vitamin B5); but it has several possible side effects, including hot flushing, itching, nausea, and numbness and tingling. This medication can also injure the liverpatients who use it require regular monitoring of liver function. Nicotinic acid can also induce insulin resistance, which can increase blood glucose levels in diabetics. It can increase uric acid levels in people with gout. Nicotinic acid can also produce low blood pressure in people taking vasodilator medications such as nitroglycerin, and it can sometimes worsen angina pectoris (chest pain).

Ayurveda Treatment for Hyperlipidemia:

Few of us think that fats are the useless parts and should be removed from the body completely. This is a fake and useless statement. Fats are essential part of any treatment and should be maintained in a proper level in the body. Ayurveda considers the complete health not the cardiac health or health of the brain alone. This is the reason, modern science treatment has a lot of side effects and Ayurvedic treatment doesn’t have any side effects all.

Side effects are not alone due to the medicines, there are certain side effects which occur due the irrational approach of the treatment—this is the truth of modern day medicines.

Ayurvedic treatment for Hyperlipidemia is aimed to balance the fats in normal proportion, not to remove or reduce these to any level. Once we are talking about the treatment, treatment is the same one where we can control the levels through diet, lifestyle changes and by using the best natural supplements for the condition.

Our team of Vaidyas at eVaidyaJi Wellness has developed a complete kit for the treatment of the condition. This kit for cholesterol is aimed to bring the level of all the lipids in the body to a normal level and to repair the system to control the production of the cholesterol in right amount.
